Larry Agran has squandered $200 Million plus on the Great Park - but there is NO PARK. The Orange County Grand Jury has chastised Larry Agran and the Great Park Board for deceitful practices. The title of the Grand Jury Report is "Now you see it, now you don't."
The minority members of the Irvine City Council had to file a lawsuit because Larry Agran, Beth Krom, and Sukhee Kang wanted to prevent them from participating in Great Park business. The Appelate Court deciding the case stated; “the selection committee's first choice had political ties to Agran and the second choice was another City of Irvine employee. This does not give the appearance of fairness or impartiality."
Larry Agran has been accused of poor ethics and wrongdoing for years. Some of his closest political allies have publicly stated he is unethical and dishonest and severed their ties with him. Beware of any candidates who still associate with him.
